🙎‍♀️KDL Women’s Premier Result
MEK 0-3 🇳🇬Killarney Celtic FC Senior Ladies
🇳🇬Goal scorers;
Hannah Casey ⚽️
Lan O’Connor ⚽️
Grainne Devane ⚽️

🙎‍♀️POTM: Lauren Buckley (right full back) for her amazing defending and her continuous runs up the right flank to help our attacks.

We played M.E.K today in Fossa.
The game was a real end to end contest with both teams having chances only for good defending from both sides.
Celtc did manage to make the break through when Hannah Casey broke in from the right side and beat the keeper at the near post.

Halftime 0-1

2nd half was pretty much in the same vein but Lan O'connor hit a wonderful strike which the keeper pushed onto the crossbar but it fell kindly for Lan to finish it off.
0-2
Grainne Devane who was a handful all day for us up front was starting to find space and had a few good strikes on goal, one which was a worldie but was called offside. Not to be deterred Grainne soon found her 1st goal for the club since joining last season.

👏Huge thanks to Pa and his players for a fantastic game and welcome to the senior ladies league from all at Killarney Celtic.

👏Thanks to Guy for reffing
