Christmas Message from Philip O’Callaghan
Chairperson, Killarney Celtic FC

As we approach the Christmas season, I would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of Killarney Celtic FC, to extend sincere thanks to everyone who contributes to our club.

To our volunteers, coaches, managers, committee members, players, parents, and supporters — both here at home and those following us from further afield — your time, commitment and loyalty are the heartbeat of this club. Everything we achieve is built on your dedication, and it never goes unnoticed.

I would also like to express our sincere appreciation to all our sponsors, whose continued support is vital to the ongoing development of the club. Your generosity helps us provide quality facilities, opportunities and experiences for players of all ages, and we are extremely grateful for your commitment to Killarney Celtic FC.

Christmas is also a time for reflection, and sadly this year our thoughts are very much with the families within our club who have experienced the loss of loved ones. We remember those who are no longer with us, and we offer our heartfelt condolences to all families and friends affected. Killarney Celtic is a club built on community, and we stand together at all times, especially during difficult moments.

Looking ahead, 2026 will be a landmark year for Killarney Celtic FC as we proudly celebrate 50 years since the club’s founding in October. This milestone gives us great pride and also great motivation as we continue to plan for a strong and exciting future.

This year we made further positive developments, including the upgrading of floodlighting on both our grass and Astro pitches, enhancing facilities for all our members. We were also delighted to be introduce new initiatives such as Women’s Social Soccer and Men’s Social Soccer, ensuring football at Killarney Celtic continues to be accessible, welcoming and enjoyable for everyone.

We are immensely proud to be an inclusive club, where participation, respect and community spirit are at the core of everything we do. Our aim has always been to provide opportunities for all, both on and off the pitch, and we will continue to build on this ethos as we move forward.

Finally, I wish all our members, supporters, players, sponsors and their families a very happy, peaceful and safe Christmas, and every good wish for the New Year. We look forward to sharing many more successes, memories and milestones together in 2026 and beyond.

Nollaig Shona daoibh go léir,

Philip O’Callaghan
Chairperson
