Celtic travelled this evening in perfect conditions to Christy Leahy pitch to face Park in quarter final of the cup. Opening half both teams had good chances but failed to convert. Nothing separated the sides in the first 15 minutes. Park on the 20th minute took the lead, ball down the right crossed in and to be fair was a super volley with Noah no chance in saving it. Tonight our boys never gave up and that attitude was rewarded and deserved equaliser coming from our vice captain Luke Clancy with a cool finish inside the box.
Second half Celtic started the stronger of the two teams pressing the kick outs and coming close on few occasions. Against the run of play 18 minutes in the second half, Park played a long ball over the top of our defence and scored well finish strike inside the box. Massive credit again our Celtic lads they kept going doing the right thing and lovely threw ball was controlling by Kiernan Kelly with a brilliant finish. Minute left celtic pressed on parks defence kiernan against winning the 50/50 battle loobed the keeper inside the box. Cue huge Celtic celebration from the players which was a joy to see these guys show that they play against a very strong team in Park.
A few special mentions on tonight prefromance firstly thanks to Noah Brosnan stepped into goals tonight for us when we was missing our keeper and did a brilliant job for us. To our Kerry lads Stephen, Lachlan and Kiernan they showed brilliant leadership for our group tonight that made from 1 to 14 play outstanding all game.
