🙎♀️🏆KSBGL U13 Girl’s Brid Devane Perpetual Cup Quarter Final Result After Extra Time
🇳🇬U13 Girl’s 5-4 Dingle Bay Rovers
🇳🇬Goal scorers:
Leah Mannix ⚽️⚽️⚽️
Seodhna O Sullivan ⚽️⚽️
POTM: Aimee Shine and Seodhna O Sullivan
In a tight game Killarney Celtic were lucky to come out with a win today.
4-1 down midway through second half the girls had to pull out all the stops to send the game into extra time.
Leah Mannix opened the scoring from a prefect Jaylinn O’Leary clearance.
But it was Dingle who took over in the middle third scoring 4 goals without reply to putting them 3 goals ahead.
Some brilliant defending by Aimee Shine kept Dingle from going further up.
It was an excellent Shine cross from a well won corner from the hardworking and skilful Mia Cox that set Seodhna O’Sullivan to score the second.
Eventhough Seodhna O’Sullivan had gone off injured at the end of the first half she came back on in the second half to lead the comeback. Her two goals proving decisive.
A Mannix special from the edge of the box put the game into extra time.
Elisa Mosca set Mannix up to get the winner early in extra time to put Celtic ahead and it was all Celtic after that with the hardworking Niamh O’Leary going close twice and both Mia Cox and Mosca having goal chances too.
Also well done to Ciara Gruban who made her Celtic debut today.
👏Well done girls and management
