🙍♂️KSBGL U11 Boy’s Plate Semi Final
🇳🇬U11 Boy’s White 🆚 Fenit Samphires Green
Celtic came away with the win. Through to the plate final now.
Cektic U11 White welcomed Fenit Samphires to Celtic Park for the Semi Final of the Development League Plate. On a wet night Celtic started the stronger and were one up on 3 minutes when Captain Connel Favier scored from outside the box. Celtics defence of Gleb Ostipov and JJ O’Sullivan were solid early on and some neat play in midfield from Fionn Murphy, Eric Dominguez and Connel created a few chances for Adam O’Riordan but the finish just wasn't there. Fenit equalised on 14 minutes when there striker latched on to a loose ball and gave Alex Stopa no chance. We made a few changes at this stage with Conor Clifford and Jack Galvin coming on at the back and Timor and James Courtney taking over in Midfield. Cian O'Connell came on up front and his pace caused problem. He was fouled just outside the box and from the resulting free Eric Dominguez found the top corner to leave us up before halftime.
The 2nd half was even enough for the 1st 10mins. John Tzchenko was holding the ball up well and he played Cian O'Connell through and he scored. He got in behind again a few minutes later and was taken down in the box he dusted himself off and dispatched the penety with power to the top corner. With 5 minutes to go we got another penalty for handball and Cian completed his hat trick with another fine finish. Adam O Riordan rounded off the scoring with the last kick of the game when he powered home from 10 yards.
👏Thanks to Tom Kerrisk for reffing and Fenit for travelling and a very sporting game.
👏Thanks to Serghi fot setting up the pitch.
👏Well done boys and management
