Our season came to a close this evening after a one nil loss to Mastergeeha at Celtic Park. Despite having most of the ball throughout the 60 minutes, we were unable to make it count on the scoreboard. Celtic created several chances in the first half with the Mastergeeha keeper making some very good saves. David Ajibare and Nathan Cronin each had an effort that the keeper saved. The sides went in even at half time and it was Mastergeeha who broke the deadlock in the second half. Celtic pushed forward more and had a number of long range efforts but they could not find the equalizer. Fionn Spellman was man of the match with a great display at centre half. Celtic couldn't be faulted for effort but didn't get the break we deserved in front of goal.
