Tonight we played our 2nd National Cup game at home to Macroom. Right from the kick off the Celtic players looked calm and composed.
Hannah Casey was on fire tonight and opened the scoring on 15mins when Katie Doe played her in.
Then Amber put the defence under pressure and won a indirect free kick just inside the box, she played a lovely pass to Katie Doe who finished superbly.
More pressure was applied and when Clodagh Moriartys corner kick sailed to the back post Hannah Casey was there to meet it and finished extremely well.
Half time 3-0.
Some changes were made at half time with the introduction of Selina Collins, Abbie Finnan and Ellie Mai Nugent all 3 combined early in the 2nd half to get the ball to Hannah Casey who scored her 3rd of the game but still wasn't done, just a few minutes later she found the net again.
We introduced Saranya Ryan and Emily Buckley with 30mins to go and both players helped set up Amber MacIndoe who in her new role as striker for the team now has 4 goals in as many games.
👏A huge thanks to Macroom for a great game and we wish them well going forwards.

Special mention to our Keeper Tara Cronin who has been outstanding all season and has kept another clean sheet, truly one of the best keepers in Kerry and beyond.
