A goal conceded in the very last minute of normal time was the difference tonight in a tight top of the table clash.
The game was tense all the way through with very little between the teams,both defences were solid throughout with Aimee Shine and Nell Casey to the fore for Celtic.
Mastergeeha had a goal chance cleared off the line by Nell Casey late in the first half, while Celtic struggled to break down the opposition defence at the other end.
Clodagh O’Connor and Seodhna O’Sullivan pressed and ran hard in midfield right through,while Eliza Mosca, Leah Mannix and Mia Cox took on their opponents at every opportunity.
Nell Casey cleared a second Mastergeeha goal chance off the line in the second half keeping it 0-0.
However in the last minute of the second half a blocked clearance ricocheted off a Mastergeeha player and ended up in the net.
