Superb team performance by Killarney Celtic girls who settled into game and dominated after 1st quarter. Holly Forrest got the opener with great finish after assist from Sadbh O’Halloran 1-0 HT.
In the second half Holly Forrest got a further goal after through ball from Niamh Brosnan , and Ali Bowler closed the game out reacting the quickest to a superb Michelle O’Connor corner . Sadbh O’Halloran came very close twice with good runs inside the cover , and Tara Cronin almost scored a long range free kick . Our back four were all brilliant expertedly marshalled by our captain Lan O’ Connor . Tara Cronin was solid and her kickouts were excellent . Ali Bowler and Ellen Allman controlled midfield all through , Niamh Brosnan and Michelle O’Connor put in great shifts on flanks . Sadbh O’Halloran was dangerous upfront and we had great contributions from Sadbh O’Brien , Puttanya Ryan , and Tess Ajibare. Girl of match Holly Forrest who was a constant threat from start to finish and took her goals very well.
