Castleisland AFC B 1-0 🇳🇬U12 Boy’s Hoops
🇳🇬MOTM: Dylan Brosnan Centre Back
A very young U12 team made the short trip to Castleisland with only 3 U12 players supplemented by U11’s. In a close game with both teams battling hard and playing good football chances were few. Celtic defended well throughout and created a few chances but at half time it was scoreless.
The 2nd period was similar with both sides hitting the crossbar before Castleisland made the breakthrough with 12mins remaining. Celtic battled back and forced 3 good saves from the home keeper and one shot cleared off the line but try as they might the equaliser just wouldn't come.
All the lads played their part and worked hard throughout.
