Our u13 girls bowed out of the final 32 in the national trophy today.
A strong physical side,Tulla exerted a lot of pressure on our girls at the back and went ahead from a well taken goal mid way through the 1st half.
However on the stroke of half time Leah Mannix found the net with an exquisite free kick from outside the box.
Despite some nice passages of play,Celtic were unable to break down the strong Tulla defence and as the home side began to tire Tulla found the net twice more before the end.
Cara Griffin had a solid game in goals,Clodagh O’Connor never stopped creating and Seodhna O’Sullivan worked hard in the middle.
Olga Kumor had the difficult task of marking Tulla’s best forward having been moved from striker to centre half following the injury of Evelyn Grimes at the back.
