🙍♂️ MOTM: Fionn Murphy (RW) and Maksym Opala (upfront) joint players of the match.
When you are not playing at your best but still manage to get the win it's a great sign of a team.
Our boys were a bit off the boil this afternoon but kept working hard to secure the win against a good Dynamos side.
Some passes went astray in the opening half and a few errors in defence but the home side kept their cool and broke the deadlock after ten minutes when Maksym Opala laid a nice ball back to Fionn Murphy near the edge of the box. Fionn struck it sweet to the bottom right hand corner.
Dynamos pulled one back a few minutes later, but Opala took the initiative himself this time as he took the ball from close to the half way line and used his pace to create a 1 v1 with the keeper and finished to retake the lead.
Celtic looked sharper in the second half, and kept working hard from defence to attack. They were unlucky not to extend the lead when Opala pulled away again only for the ball to come off both posts before a Dynamos defender cleared it off the line.
With three minutes remaining, Celtic were awarded a free kick outside the box on the right hand side. Erik Dominguez struck a cracker to the top left corner to seal the deal.
👏Well done boys and management
