Dingle Bay Rovers 0-6 🇳🇬Senior Women
🇳🇬Goal scorers:
Amber MacIndoe ⚽️⚽️
Ellie Mai Nugent ⚽️⚽️
Katie Doe
Clodagh Moriarty
🙎♀️Player of the match: Norma Mahony, controlled midfield well and always looked to get the ball moving forwards.
Killarney Celtic Ladies away to Dingle Bay Rovers.
The game got off to a fast start with both teams having good opportunities to open the scoring.
Fortunately we managed to score 1st when Amber MacIndoe fed the ball to Ellie Mai just outside the box and scored with a great strike.
Amber just back to us after her adventure with the Kerry F.C U17 team last year showed her class with 2 wonderful goals to put us 3-0 up at halftime.
2nd half and Dingle came out with renewed energy and had us under pressure for good spells, thank fully our defence stood strong and this set us to get forwards again.
Ellie again was not to be denied and when the ball fell to her outside the box she hit another wonderful shot into the far corner.
Our midfield of Norma Mahony and Katie Doe worked together really well and when Katie picked up the ball just outside the area she hit a super strike that the keeper got a hand to but couldn't prevent it going in.
Our last goal came when the tireless Selina Collins got to the byline and crossed wonderfully for Clodagh Moriarty to tap in at the far post.
👏We would like to thank Tim and his players for a great game, and there are big days ahead for them.
👏Well done ladies and management.
