In an extremely windy Dingle,the girls had a comprehensive win.
Playing with the wind in the first half a lot of chances were missed with Leah Mannix and Elisa Mosca being unlucky on a number of occasions.
Clodagh O’Connor and Jaylinn O’Leary were effective up front, with O’Leary hitting a half volley into the roof of the net midway through the first half
Soon after, Olga Kumor got the goal of the game when she hit a beautiful shot cleanly from just outside the box.
On the stroke of half-time, Clodagh O’Connor converted after some excellent work in the box having been setup by neat play on the right by Nell Casey and Mia Cox.
Surprisingly the girls continued to create chances in the second half despite the strong wind.
The introduction of Caoimhe Darmody paid off when she got onto a pass from Leah Mannix scoring from 4/5 metres out.
Aimee Shine and Evelyn Grimes kept things tight at the back all day with Seodhna O’Sullivan and Ava Knee also falling back into defence in order to help out.
Cara Griffin saved a number of certain goal chances in the second half.
Jaylinn O’Leary scored a second late on to cap a very good day out for the girls.
