🙍♂️KSBGL U16 Boy’s Division 2 Result & Report
🇳🇬U16B Boy’s 2-1 Castlemaine Utd
🇳🇬Goal scorers:
Andrew Sheehan ⚽️⚽️
Celtic U16 B team played out a hard fought 2-1 win at home today to Castlemaine. Celtic played against a strong breeze in the first half and struggled to get to grips with the strong wind and a spirited and determined opposition and went 1 down to a long ball over the top which broke off a defender and fell nicely to the on running attacker to finish well. Celtic continued to play some nice football keeping the ball on the ground and had a great move between Ryan Dowling and Ryan Moloney finished expertly by Tobias only for it to be ruled offside.
Second half Celtic dominated possession and chances only for Castlemaines goalie and defence to keep them out until Andrew Sheahan managed to latch onto a rare mistake from Castlemaine’s keeper to get Celtic back on level terms. Celtic continued to pass the ball well and create chances and the pressure finally paid off when the ball once again fell to Andrew who finished well to score his and Celtic second. Celtic played out the remaining minutes keeping good control of the ball and offering Castlemaines no easy ball and got the win the Second half display Deserved. Great to see such great numbers today as Celtic had 19 players today and all were given good playing time
👏Well done boys and management
