🙎‍♀️Player of the match Ellie Mai Nugent for her fantastic work in midfield and her tireless runs  both for the defence and attack. 

Killarney Celtic travelled to CastleIsland this evening for their 1st match of the New year. Without a training session since mid December the team played some great football and any rustiness was brushed off after 15mins when Abbie Finnan scored from a corner.
This woke CastleIsland up and for the remainder of the 1st half it was very even.
2nd half was a tight affair with both sides working extremely hard and both defences were tested on a regular basis. Again after about 15mins into the 2nd half CastleIsland got a corner, although we cleared the area the ball fell to CastleIsland who chipped the ball back in to the back post and headed in from there.
The rest of the half was honours even.
