🇳🇬Goal Scorers:
Leah Mannix ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️
🙎♀️Player of the match: Leah Mannix.
Probably the teams best performance so far this year.
Leah Mannix was on top form today, causing endless trouble to the opposition with her mazy dribbling and intelligent running.
Mia Cox created width and chances especially in the first half while also covering back on the oppositions best player.
In the second half it was Elisa Mosca doing the creating with her intelligence on the ball and hard running on the left wing.
Niamh O’Leary again led by example today with her workmate and determination in the first half.
The central midfield pairing of Seodhna O’Sullivan and Clodagh O’Connor were tireless in both attack and defence all day.
The defence of Nell Casey, Aimee Shine, Evelyn Grimes and Brid O’Connor worked well as a unit, especially midway through the second half when Lisnary scored and pilled on the pressure. Aimee Shine was the standout defender at this stage of the game.
Olga Kumor stood in goal due to Cara Griffin’s injury and she did so to great effect. Olga came off her line excellently in the first half to make a top class save, and a number of other essential stops in the second half.
Ava Knee replaced Niamh O’Leary upfront for the second half, linking up brilliantly with her fellow attackers while also working hard pressing the opposition when they had procession.
Caoimhe Darmody was unlucky not to have a goal when she was stopped by a last ditch tackle.
👏Well done girls and management
