🙍♂️KSBGL U12 Boy’s Division 2 South Result & Match Report
Killorglin B 2-2 🇳🇬U12 Boy’s Hoops
🇳🇬Goal scorers:
Dwayne Koeller ⚽️
OG ⚽️
🙍♂️MOM: Ryan Lowe
Celtic U12 Hoops made the short trip to Killorglin today. Playing against the wind Celtic were pinned back inside their own half early on but were defending well with Dylan Brosnan, Jack Galvin and James Courtney blocking shots and getting their tackles in restricting Killorglin to long shots that didn't threaten Joey O'Connors goal. Celtic had the best chance when Dwayne Koeller was played through but his shot cannoned back of the post with the keeper beaten.
Celtics midfield was working hard with Karem Kazeel, Connell Favier, Evan Brosnan and Man of Match Ryan Lowe playing some nice football. Killorglin had a few corners and after 20mins one of these beat the man at the near post and ended up in the net to leave it 1-1 at the break.
Celtic came out strong in the 2nd half. Killorglin broke and against the run of play went 2-1 up but Celtic kept battling and with 4mins left the ball ended up in the net off a Killorglin boot following sustained pressure from Celtic. The game finished 2-2.
👏Thanks to Killorglin and the ref for a sporting game and also for the minutes silence before the game in memory of Philip O'Sullivan🙏
👏Well done boys and management
