🙍♂️🏆SFAI Subway U12 Boy’s National Cup Round 4 Result
🇳🇬U12A Boys 1-2 Tulla United White
🇳🇬Goal scorer:
Jake Scannell ⚽️
🙍♂️MOM: Dylan McCarthy
We welcomed a strong Tulla united team from Clare today whom had a long trip to Killarney.
The match was played in horrible conditions where wind and hail affected all of it. Without several of our regulars we kept possession and dominated. Jake Scannell scored with a lovely finish after being played in by Dylan McCarthy. Our dominance nearly got us a second but it was 1 nil HT.
With the strong wind behind them Tulla scored on the break early in the 2nd half. Tulla were pressing but our defence was resilient and our boys were trying to play. A bounce of the ball nearing the end landed for one of Tullas forwards to get their 2nd. Dylan came close to an equaliser but it ended 1-2.
Including the boys who came up from our white team Jeremiah and I are extremely proud of them all.
Today was the first time we have lost a competitive game and by that it's an important day where the game we love is about both winning and losing together.
Boys are a credit to their parents and their club🇳🇬.
👏Thanks to everyone at base as usual and to the ref.
We wish Tulla United the best in next round.
