Killarney Celtic played at home tonight against a really strong Kenmare side, both teams gave a great display for all to see.
Celtic finished the 1st half a little stronger and when Hannah Casey won the ball in midfield she took on the Inter defence and created some space for herself to get a great strike off which duly found the back of the net and put us 1-0 up. 
To Inter’s credit they came out fast after the break and had us under pressure, and from that they caught us cold from a quick corner kick and the inter midfielder hit a wonderful shot into the far corner.
1-1.
To Celtic’s credit the girls played outstanding and pushed for the winning goal and came close a few times.
The game finished in a draw which was a fair result on the night especially as conditions worsened as the match went on.
There was some outstanding displays from our own Lauren Buckley, Zoe Counihan, Saranya Ryan and many more but girl of the match goes to Ciara Casey who was flawless in the left full back position.
