It was a very entertaining game of football, with both sides showcasing some great play. The game began lively, with both teams battling hard in midfield, though Celtic held a slight edge. The breakthrough came at 10 minutes when Rowan Murphy charged down a clearance and played a lovely ball to Eoin Murphy, who, as usual, finished clinically to put Celtic one up. As the game progressed, Celtic grew stronger, though Camp dug in and remained a constant threat. Just before half-time, Celtic doubled their lead with a powerful free kick from Jamie Downing, which found its way all the way into the net.
The second half started much like the first, with both teams going at it in midfield. Camp pulled a goal back with a well-deserved free kick, bringing the score to 2-1. However, Celtic then took control, adding goals from Cathal O’Donovan, Jace Flynn, and two more from Eoin Murphy—securing his hat-trick and earning him the MOTM title.
Camp managed to grab a late consolation goal from another free kick, but Celtic proved deserving winners on the day.
👏Shout out to Camp for playing great football throughout.
👏Thanks to the referee for overseeing an excellent game.
👏Well done boys and managers
