Both teams observed a minutes silence before the game in memory of Vince Lacke. 
The visitors started strongly and went 2-0 up with a good headed goal and a long range shot. Celtic had good possession and were creating chances and turned the game around scoring 4 goals in 15 minutes through Andrew, Marco and Eric (2). This form continued into the 2nd half with 2 goals from Simon and an OG from a cross to make it 6-2. Both teams were committed throughout and athletic scored 2 including a penalty to close the gap.
