🙎♀️Charleville Cheese Senior Ladies Result & Match Report
🇳🇬Senior Ladies 3-3 Inter Kenmare
🇳🇬Goal scorers:
Katie Doe ⚽️⚽️
Clodagh Moriarty ⚽️
🙎♀️Player of the match: Katie Doe for her tireless running and never give up attitude.
For the 1st time in many years Killarney Celtic fielded a Ladies team in the KDL, and to see these young woman compete against a very experienced Kenmare team in their 1st outing was never going to be easy.
Kenmare got the match up and running with a well worked goal inside 5mins and 2 more followed in the next 15mins.
Up step the amazing Katie Doe who took it on herself to beat 2 players and rifle a shot in just before the break to give the girls the belief to follow her.
With Bianca, Clodagh and Hannah all linking up well we manged to pull another one back with some good passing and a great cross to the back post where Clodagh ran onto it and slotted home.
A few minutes later Clodagh sent in a wonderful cross from a corner and the ball fell to Katie Doe and very calmly slotted home her 2nd of the day and the teams comeback from 3 down.
The game finished 3-3 and although we are happy to have gotten something from the game.
Every player gave their all from the u16s that were called up to the senior players who havent really started back training yet due to other commitments. Hopefully we will start to see more and more work their way back.
👏Huge thanks to Kenmare for a great game all round and to Eoin Moynihan for reffing.
👏Well done ladies and management. Fantastic to see Ladies soccer in kerrydistrictleague
