Our under 16s got their home league campaign off to a flying start tonight at Celtic Park.
Killarney started well and dominated possession, but Listowel were determined and well set up and their keeper made some impressive early stops including a great stop from a Samuel Scroope. Dara Horan broke the deadlock after Mark Looney headed on a Jack O’Grady corner
The breakthrough helped settled Killarney down and Samuel Scroope added a second, rounding the keeper and finishing from a tight angle after good work from Sean Collins.
Jack O’Grady's long range low strike was a sweet third before the break.
After the break Celtic continued to dominate the ball and worked well down both flanks with Sean Horan, Stephen Shine Doody and Lachlan Scannell the providers for the pace of Jack Culloty, Samuel Scroope and Ignacy Truchan.
Jack Culloty got a brace in the second half and good goals from Sean Collins and Iggy wrapped up a great night of football by the hosts.
