Mastergeeha FC 1-2 🇳🇬 U13 Girl’s
🇳🇬Goal scorers:
Caoimhe Darmody ⚽️
Seodhna O’Sullivan ⚽️
Player of the match Aimee Shine.
In a tight game,Killarney played some lovely football, against a very strong Mastergeeha defence.
Although going down 1 nil early on.
Celtic attacked in waves with Leah Mannix leading the line hitting the woodwork on no less than 4 occasions in the first half. Mastergeeha couldn’t handle her mazy dribbling and were constantly on the back foot. Only for an outstanding 1st half display from the opposition keeper kept the score at 1-0. However it was a beautiful strike by Caoimhe Darmody that broke the deadlock with a curling strike from just inside the penalty area.
The second half began with Celtic attacking well down the right with Mia Cox and Niamh O’Leary linking up well. The second goal came from a cross by Mia Cox that was spilled by the Mastergeeha keeper with the tireless Seodhna O’Sullivan finishing from 5 metres out.
A frantic last few minutes saw the ever present Evelyn Grimes clearing a shot off the line.
👏Well done girls and management
