Killarney Celtic u12 girls came out the right side of a tight contest in Celtic park tonight.
A very early Leah Mannix goal after an excellent cross from the busy Mia Cox gave Celtic the lead and despite a number of good goal attempts by Mia Cox, Niamh O Leary and Leah Mannix the score remained at 1-0.
Celtic had the majority of possession in the second half,but a long ball over the top by a St Brendan’s player in the last minute of the game gave them a prefect chance to equalise only for the heroics of Olga Kumor in goal for Killarney stopped the game going to extra time.
