💁♂️U9 Boy’s Cup Final
Unfortunately not to be for our U9 Boy’s Green team. Each one should be very proud as they kept going till the end.
In the second final Killarney Celtic lost to Listowel Celtic Green in another cracking game.
Both teams started well and Listowel Green took an early lead with a fantastic long range effort.
Killarney Celtic grew stronger as the quarter went on and went up after some lovely football down the wing for both goals.
Killarney Celtic were playing some great stuff at this stage but couldn't add to the lead and great credit to Listowel who grew into the game as well and went up with 2 good counter attacks.
In the 3rd quarter Killarney Celtics midfield took over again but couldn't find the target after some fantastic moves and passing.
Into the last quarter and Killarney Celtic scored 2 wonderful goals either side of a Listowel goal to leave it at even with Killarney Celtic unlucky not to be ahead thanks to some good goalkeeping by Listowel’s keeper.
While Killarney Celtic were pushing on Listowel hit us on the break with 3 minutes to go with a brilliant finish and as we gambled in the last minute they scored with the last kick of the game to seal the win.
👏The boys did fantastic and can count themselves very unlucky to not get something out of the game
