Honestly hard to figure how Celtic came out the wrong side of this result. Dominating the game through out Celtic were punished for not taking our chances. A cracking lobbed goal by Nathan Cronin mid way through the first half was ruled out for a suspect off side which would have put us 1’up . Our defence have worked so hard all season on keeping there lines & defending as a group. We went in at HT 1-0 down but reassured the boys they were by far the better team & if we kept pushing we’d be rewarded.

As it happened we conceded very early in the 2nd half a sucker punch . The next 25 mins were all Celtic with some great football be played, ball on the ground working hard and fighting for every ball . We hit the crossbar, the post twice along with a bunch of outstanding saves from the MEK keeper it looked like the break through would never come. However with just minutes left we finally got some reward for our effort when Andrew Bilokhvost forced the ball home in the 58th minute. With the crowd lifted, the boys continued to push for what would have been a more than justified equaliser but as often can happen we got caught on the hop & conceded a last second break away goal to flattered the result in the away teams favour. We couldn’t be more proud of our boys man for man every one of them has improved this season, huge numbers turning up every week for training . A number of our boys were upset after the loss but it was great to see all the boys band together reassuring those boys that they could do no more on the night that they gave it there all. It would be unfair pick out best on the night as every boy did Celtic proud 🟢⚪️

It has been an absolute pleasure to see these boys develop this season . All will again do Celtic FC proud we have no doubts in years to come.
