In wet and windy conditions, the girls continued their unbeaten record with a comprehensive win in Tralee today.

The central midfield partnership of Abbie Finnan and Clodagh Moriarty gave Celtic the prefect platform from the start.

Clodagh Moriarty’s dead ball striking caused all sorts of problems for St. Brendan’s leading to the first goal which was a perfectly taken corner headed into their own goal by a St. Brendan’s player.

Casey Mulry and Ali Bowler were on top up front with Mulry scoring a goal in each half and unlucky not to have another.

Amelia Carroll Kelly looked equally impressive on the left wing in the first half and in the central midfield position in the second half.

Hannah Casey got an opportunistic goal finishing with her left foot when the ball fell to her in the box.

Right back Saranya Ryan showed bravery and smarts getting her goal from an excellent Moriarty cross.

Celtic continued to impress in the second with Sarah Warren and Saranya Ryan moving into attack.

Lan played well when introduced on the wing.
