Celtic welcomed Athletic tonight in the cup on a dry Friday night under lights. Athletic started the game well and looked bright. Opening goal went to Athletic in the 15th minute, coming from the penalty spot. Unfortunately Celtic’s luck didn't get better, 5 minutes after Athletic doubled the lead a goal from close range.

Second half our lads showed what they are capable of and pulled one back with a lovely strike from Cormac O’Sullivan from the edge of the box. Celtic had one or two chances to level the game but Athletic held out for a deserved win at the end.
