Ringmahon AFC 3-3 Killarney Celtic in Full time.
Killarney Celtic won 4-3 on penalties.
Celtic started the match the way we wanted them 90 miles a hour. Fighting for everything. Celtic took the lead through Kiernan Kelly in the opening ten minutes who was a constant danger up top. Second goal came again from the boot of Kiernan Kelly. Celtic made it 3-0 from a well taken free kick from Stephen shine. Credit to Ringmahon they never gave up and pulled one back from the penalty spot before half time.
Second half Ringmahon really applied the pressure on celtic boys and got a deserved second within 10 minutes of second half. This gave the home team extra drive in the second half and Celtic had to dig in deep at times. Unfortunately Ringmahon got a penalty with ten minutes remaining of normal time and leveled the match 3-3. Extra time was nervous for both teams. It went to penalties.
Thankfully Celtic held the head and won 4-3.
👏Thanks to Ringmahon for a fine sporting game and the food afterwards was much appreciated.
We wish Ringmahon all the best for the rest of the season.
👏Well done boys and management.
