Lovely winters morning for a sporting game.

Celtic started strongly and played lovely possession football.

Dara Horan reacted quickest to give Celtic an early lead from a corner.

Mark Looney stuck sweetly from another James Murphy corner to double the lead.

Celtic got a fortuitous 3rd when Samuel Scroope turned Luca Moscas shot into the net.

Jack Culloty, Jack OGrady Ryan Downing and Ignacy Truchan also went close to scoring in that 1st half.

Ballyhar pulled a goal back - also from a corner in the second half.

Ignacy Truchan followed up to restore Celtics cushion.

Samuel Scroope scored twice in the final quarter - finishing a lovely pass from Sean Collins and then following up on a Mark Looney strike from distance.

Ballyhar scored a nice goal to finish the game.

All in all, a sporting occasion with both teams playing some nice football and referee Paddy Osborne contributing with excellent officiating.

Thanks to the supporters too.

Lots of great performances in the Celtic colours but hattrick scorer Samuel Scroope worked hard and showed his football quality to take our MOTM call.
