In near tornado conditions in Templemore the girls put in a performance full of heart and character.

Outstanding defending by Aimee Shine,Evelyn Grimes and Nell Casey kept the team from Tipp and bay and the girls were very unlucky to concede a soft goal just before half time.

The second half started with the skilful Caoimhe Darmody giving a sweet return pass to Leah Mannix for her to shoot narrowly wide. However just after Mia Cox snuck in behind her marker to toe poke home from 4/5 metres out.

The girls went onto squander a number of chances which gave the opposition hope.

Leah Mannix eventually put the result beyond doubt when she hit the third with less than 10 mins to go.

Seondha 0 Sullivan gave her usual 100% with Elisa Mosca also working hard both on and off the ball.
