The first half saw few chances with both teams working hard to cancel each other out. Tobias gave Celtic the lead with a close in finish with Celtic leading 1-0 at half time.

The 2nd half provided better entertainment. Athletic started strongly and went 2-1 up midway through the half. Tobias was played through the middle and pursued by 3 defenders slotted into the bottom corner for 2-2. Good work on the right found Mark well positioned near the penalty spot and another good finish to the corner for 3-2. Andrew added the 4th near the final whistle. Another day Athletic could have got something from the game.
