On a cold frosty night in November the all round performance from Killarney Celtics u15 girls team was enough to warm anyones heart. With an early goal from Amelia Carroll Kelly from an Ali Bowler cross and the 2nd goal followed shortly after only roles were reversed this time with Amelia providing a lovely cross for Ali to finish from close range for a 2:0 lead. Camp came right back into the game with a well taken goal & suddenly it was game on. A great strike from Niamh Brosnan from distance gave Celtic a 3:1 lead going in at half time.

Celtic started the 2nd half the way they finished the 1st with a strike from Lan o Connor followed by a great run and finish from Sadbh O’Halloran. Good strikes seemed to be the order of the night as goals came from the distance from Sadbh O’Brien & Amelia Carroll Kelly. When Niamh Brosnan rounded the keeper to cooly slot home for goal, it capped a great nights work for the celtic girls.

The scoreline didn't do justice for the hard working performance that the Camp girls put in & on another night they could have had a few more goals to add to their tally. All 17 celtic girls on the night played their part & it wouldn't be fair to pick a girl of the match on what was a great team performance, but special mention goes to the solid back 4 of Lauren Buckley, Ellen Allman, Sadbh o Brien & Ciara Forde who were tremendous throughout.
