Celtic u12 White made a short trip to Ballyhar this morning for an early kick off. Celtic were missing 5 players but they played their best game of the season. Everyone of the boys played their part in a hard 1 nil win.

Game started brightly for Celtic, they passed the ball so well on a very good pitch, Mark McGee organised his defence of Jamie, Daniel, Mark and Josh, the midfield was exceptional today, Keenan McCarthy, Hugh Fleming and Rowan Murphy linked so well and ran everywhere, Robbie and Cian were super when they moved out the wings. Cathal and Richie kept Ballyhars defence on their toes, a constant threat all game.

The second half was pretty super, end to end and some good saves from Mark McGee, our goal came from a penalty that Rowan Murphy put away, Ballyhar pressed and nearly got the equaliser with the last kick except Mark making a fine save with the rebound sneaking in only for Rowan to head off the bar on the goal line, we would have conceded. All the boys were excellent today, Mark Van Der Merwe, Keenan McCarthy, Hugh Fleming and Rowan Murphy.

Hard to call a MOTM but Rowan Murphy gets it.
