This was a showcase of how the game should be played. Both teams were playing the right way on a wet evening in Killarney. Iveragh started the brighter and Celtic came into and dominated the half. Chances few and far between for both teams. Cillian Daly made a super sliding tackle to deny Iveragh and not long after a lovely one two between Cillian Scannell and Conor Doherty put Conor in to make it 1-0. Cillian Daly (MOTM) was excellent in defence all game.

Second half started like the first half ended, Celtic playing well and Iveragh try to get them on the counter. Celtic got caught from a throw in their own half and Iveragh got in to make it 1-1. Celtic upped the intensity and had a goal ruled out for offside with Sean Doyle and Jack Kissane causing havoc up front.

Iveragh held out for a draw and a super game between two excellent teams.
