🇳🇬Celtic's MOTM was the hard working Ignacy Truchan up front but all the lads gave their all.👏🏻

Our u15A team got their season underway with a Friday game under lights against local rivals Mastergeeha.

'Geeha started strongly and crafted a few early chances before Celtic had a great move to set up their first chance.

In a compeling first half, Celtic took the lead when Luca Moscas good work on the left set up Dara Horans effort which Jack Culloty made sure gave the Hoops a lead.

Celtic doubled the lead when Dara Horan, set up by Iggy Truchan executed a 360 degree spin with the Geeha goalie in attendance to squeeze the ball home.

Geeha came back strong and their turnover down the right flank led to a good cross and although the impressive Ryan Lucey saved the first effort, he'd no chance with the followup.

The second half was a tense affair but there was plenty of excitement. The hard working Ignacy Truchan was denied a great goal chance when flagged for offside and he pressed and harried all night to create turnovers.

Sean Collins was fouled on the edge of the box and the resultant free kick from Jack Grady was goalbound but a deflection to it onto the bar and geeha cleared.

Geeha pressed till the end and had two late chances to tie the game, Ryan Lucey saving a header and Geeha hitting the post late on.

The last action of the game saw Mark Looney pass to Jack Culloty whose clever ball put Luca Mosca goal bound and he finished delightfully passed the advancing Geeha keeper to seal the win.
